We’ve not known what to expect with a 14 hour flight in coach approaching. We were flying ANA airlines which is a Japanese carrier. When we arrived in the plane and found our 3 seats in a row of 10 I knew it would be a different experience. This was punctuated when we pushed back from the gate and the ground crew was waving and then bowed. Everything about this flight was different than I expected. Different in a good way I might add!
We were served 2 meals and a snack. The food was different but very good. Sitting in the very back has its privileges as Sara and I got “stuck” with the creamy seafood dinner which we were a little concerned about. Turns out, it was quite good!
The seats had more room than other planes I’d been on, not a lot but just a bit which really did help make the flight bearable!
14 hours was still 14 hours and I’m glad it’s over. Untill later さようならSayōnara
This food looks a lot better than the sushi breakfast. =)
